Layered sliced and toasted Easter dove- shaped cake with fresh ricotta, orange zest and honey sweets24 March 2009 16.59
Ingredients for 4 people:- 1 Easter dove shaped cake Preheat the oven on 180°C. from the four jutting parts get twelve slices about one centimeter and toasted in the oven until golden brown on both side. In a bowl mix the sugar and the ricotta on to a cream, fill up a pastry bag a keep in the fridge. Finely chop the orange sweets and keep on the side. Warmup the honey and keep on the side. Pour some ricotta cream in the center of a flat plate lay a slice of toasted cake, some more cream, some orange zest and continue with another layer. Pour a couple of tablespoon of honey on top and around the plate, complete dusting with some icing sugar and some of the orange zest. |
