Aranzada

On occasion of christenings, the Arandaza´s strips are traditionally offered to the priest and the Godparents.

Ingredients:
300 grams orange peel, 300 grams almonds, 300 grams honey.

Finely slice the orange peel removing any pith left, and leave it soaking in water for one day.
Remove the peel from the water and put it in a saucepan to heat with some honey. Finally, add the ground almonds and stir it for few minutes.
Place the content in a plate to cool down.
