Myrtle Liqueur30 November 2005 11.31
Aromatic, gentle and at the same time powerful: this is the Myrtle Liqueur, obtained from wild myrtle berries or leaves, typical of the Mediterranean vegetation. With a bit of time and patience, you can do it yourself: itīs very easy!!
Clean the myrtle berries and put them in a dark bottle, then add the sugar and the alcohol. Leave the content to rest in a dark place, often shaking it well to dissolve the sugar. Keep the bottle in the dark for about 50 days. After this time, filter the liquid into a clean bottle.
