Kara Sardegna® is the brand created by Cortesa to select, promote, and share the finest Sardinian food, wine, and artisan products with customers in Italy and around the world.

Founded in 1994 under the name Frutti di Sardegna, the project has grown into a well-established brand, recognized for its commitment to quality, authenticity, tradition, and the rich heritage of Sardinia.

Every product is carefully selected in collaboration with local producers, artisans, and businesses. Wines, spirits, cheeses, cured meats, traditional sweets, preserves, and handcrafted creations embody the history, flavors, and authentic identity of the Island.

Kara Sardegna® operates two stores at Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport: one located before the security checkpoint and another in the departure area. These are complemented by a boutique at Eccelsa Aviation, the General Aviation Terminal, and Kara Italy, dedicated to the finest Italian specialties.

In 2021, the brand further expanded its presence with the opening of a new store at Alghero Riviera del Corallo Airport.

Today, Kara Sardegna® operates five retail stores, each designed not only as a shopping destination but also as a place where visitors can discover the traditions, flavors, and culture of Sardinia.

Building on its expertise in selecting the Island's finest products, Kara Sardegna® also launched its online store, www.karasardegna.it, making Sardinian excellence available to customers worldwide.
