Silvio Carta
The company Silvio Carta was founded in 1952 by its founder who named the company itself. The first activity was to vinify and sharpen the seductive Vernaccia wine, which is named after the homonymous grape, still to be bottled by Silvio Carta today must undergo a long and patient aging process within the characteristics of seasoned chestnut barrels . Over time, tastes have reduced Vernaccia's consumption due to the high alcoholic gradation to which this precious wine is subject. Silvio Carta to consolidate its important market position has therefore joined the Wine Company, an efficient distillery that since 1984 produces simple and high quality liqueurs like Mirto, "Filu Ferru", Limoncino, and Creme.
