Grape Varieties: VERMENTINO OF SARDINIA D.O.C 100%.
Production Area: Anglona (SS) Sardinia, Italy.
Soil composition: Sandy soils derived from granite weathering. Garantee a good drainage throug the years.
Altitude: 20 metres above sea level.
Climate: Always windy. Warm temperate in the summer with a firm in temperature between day and night. Never particularly harsh winter, and tempered by marine currents.
Production per hectare: 4500 - 5500 kg/ha.Vine training system: Sapling “free of foot”.
Plant density: 10.000 plants/ha.Harvest date: Second half of August.
Vinification: The grapes are hand picked and placed in small basket of up to 15 kg each. After a brief cold maceration in contact, there is the stemmer crusching followed by a sot pressing. The fermentaion is carried in stainless steel temperature-controlled play.
Fermentation temperature: 14-16° C.
Fermentation on period: 15-18 gg.
Aging: 2-3 months on the lees. In stainless steel tanks.
Development in the bottle: 1-3 years.
Colour: Straw yellow with green reflecions.
Bouquet: Disinctly fruity and floral fragrances.
Taste: Tasty and fresh.
Food and wine pairing: Particularly suitable as a match to fish dishes.
