Rosemary ointment: the sweet natural, freshness of Sardinia
Rosemary (Salvia Rosmarinus) is a plant of the Lamiaceae family rich in antioxidants, anti inflammatory and anti spasmodics. For this reason, it was considered by the ancient Greeks and Romans a panacea against all ills, thanks to its properties. Rosemary ointment is made by letting the tops of rosemary that we grow in our Selargius farm in Su Cracoxiu macerate in olive oil. Our plants do not undergo any type of treatment because they only receive water, sun and lots of love. The maceration lasts no less than 30 days. At the end, we enrich the preparation with its essential oil. This ointment has a great scent that gives it a touch of wild beauty. We add pure operculum wax to stabilize it and improve spreadability.
The beeswax we use is a thin layer of extremely pure wax, which takes the name of operculum wax; the quantity of operculum wax that can be obtained is rather small and this explains why it is rather expensive.
Ingredients: Rosemary tops, extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, rosemary essential oil.
How to use: spread as needed in the affected area by exerting light pressure through circular movements
