Already from the name (to be honest not too nice) you can guess its use on the occasion of the festivities of the dead. They are not to be confused with another biscuit (now obsolete) which owed its name to the fact that it was packaged with scraps and leftovers from other processes. Enriched with pieces of toasted almonds and candied citron. Intense the scent of cinnamon. In a nutshell: ugly .... but good!
