Fragrant and aromatic, our broad beans perfectly respect the culinary tradition of our island, Sardinia. Removed from the pod, they are marinated in water and vinegar, seasoned with fennel seeds which give them the classic fresh and wild flavor of licorice.
They can be enjoyed as an aperitif, appetizer or used to accompany main courses, salads and season pasta and cereals. In Sardinia they often replace potatoes in octopus salad.
