Bio Donna Marisa Dop Sardegna extra virgin olive oil is produced thanks to the fruits of the centuries-old olive trees of the Oristano area, belonging to the Orrù family for 5 generations. The olive groves almost 8 hectares of Semidana, Manna, Nera di Villacidro with an age between 150 and 300 years are located at sea level.

The name Donna Marisa is the tribute that the children Antonella, Anna, Francesco and Giovanni wanted to give to their mother Marisa, founder together with her husband Giglio, of the splendid reality that today the children carry on with pride. Donna Marisa is a Blend obtained from Semidana Manna and Nera olives from Villacidro harvested in advance and separately from late October to early November.

The olives are grown according to the biological method in soil of good fertility following the specification of the PDO Sardinia. The extraction takes place with a modern two-phase continuous cycle crusher using mechanical processes, filtered, stored under nitrogen and, if necessary, bottled.

Donna Marisa oil is a yellow-green Blend with medium - intense fruity with fruity and balsamic vegetable hints with notes of artichoke, tomato leaves, fresh mowed grass, citrus, green almond, thyme, mint and myrtle. The taste is very intense structured with an aftertaste of artichoke pepper and chicory. Persistent and balanced with its notes of bitter and spicy medium - intense.

Perfect combination with legume soups, spaghetti with tomato sauce, pasta and beans, red meat and game, smoked seafood, grilled fish, gourmet pizzas, Sicilian caponata, aged cheeses and with citrus pastry based on ricotta.
