The gabbas Estate has been owned by our familyfor quite some time. It is located in "Barbagia" the heat of Sardinia, in the Oliena´s hills, near Nuoro.
The territory is bathed by the mediterranean sunlight and its microclimate greatly favors ripening of the grapes.
The propety extends over 60 acres, 30 of whitch are vineyards. Of midium consistency, the decomposed granite soli has good water redention aven during arid Sardinian Summer. Production never exceeds 2-2,5 tons per acre.
Dule is produced from 100% Cannonau grapes, that came from one single vineyard. It is aged for 6 months in 60and 120 French oak gallon barrels and it is released 24 mounths after the harvest.Full bodied, of multifaceded and complex flavours, it goes well with red meats and dishes with rich sauces.
Serve at temperature of 18°C in ample wine godblet.Decant before serving.
