Serving suggestions: To be drunk in a medium sized goblet at 12-14°C. The wine is ideal with white and red meat, roast fish and mature cheeses.
General characteristics: Villa di Chiesa has a straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. It presents a fine bouquet of peaches, sage, mangos and straw. It tastes of fruits. The aftertaste has a hint of bitter almonds. It´s kept in barriques for 9 months before selling.
Grapes used: Vermentino 60%, Chardonnay 40%.
Methods of production: the Vermentino vines are planted in a sandy soil. The climate is hot and dry in summer; mild in winter. The Vermentino grape-harvest begins on the first week of september, until the first week of october; the Chardonnay grape-harvest takes place during the last ten days of august.Afterwards, the must obtained is kept in wooden barriques for few months.
Preservation: keep the bottle horizontally in a dark and cool place at a temperature of 17°C.
