General characteristics The " Terre Brune " is powerful and elegant. This deep ruby red wine has a variety of scents: bilberries, plums, sweet spices, laurel, leather and chocolate. It offers a long, aristocratic flavour with a spiced and fruity aftertaste.
Grapes used: Carignano 95%, Bovaleddu 5%.
Methods of production The climate in Sardinia is hot and dry in summer, temperate in winter.The harvesting takes place at the end of september for a couple of weeks. The must obtained is kept in steel containers for 15 days, and then moved to French wooden barriques for about 16-18 months. After such a period, the wine is ready for bottling.The bottling lasts 12 months.
Preservation Keep the bottle horizontally in a dark and cool place at a temperature of 17°C.
