The first red whine produced by Capichera.It is an important company flagship red which combines complexity and drinkability.Originally produced entirely from the south-west island´s best known black grape vine; today it is a successful combination of the south-west island´s best known black grape vine and Syrah.The name derives from Gallura dialect meaning ´so far so good´.

First vintage: 1997

Varietal: 95% the south-west island´s best known black grape vine, 5% Syrah

Vineyards: in Olbia and Palau, Sardinia

Designation of origin: IGT Isola dei Nuraghi

Fermentation: fermentation and maceration in steel tanks for approximately three weeksAgeing : 12 months in barriques

Colour: dark ruby red with violet tinges

Aroma: reveals a splendid fusion of ethereal and winy notes with the occasional hint of black fruits, alcohol-soaked cherries, blackberry, myrtle, spices, eucalyptus, cocoa and briny notes

Flavour: full-flavoured, warm, sapid with rich and concentrated ripened fruit and a fine tannic weave; the finish is long and persistent; great character
