First produced in 1980, it was born from the intuition that Vermentino grapes - Capichera´s most cherished variety - could yield a wine capable of standing alongside the great international whites. The finest clusters of these grapes, grown in their ideal terroir, are transformed into a unique and characterful wine, elegant and full of personality. Capichera, from the Latin caput erat meaning “it was the capital,” is the ancient name of the estate.
