The " Torroncini " are small bars of Torrone, covered with a lovely " glassa " ( icing ). They are cm 5 long, and weigh only gr.11. It´s a nice snack to keep in the pocket.Serving suggestions: try it cool!! Keep it in the freezer. The low temperature lowers the sugar level and raises the taste of honey and dried fruits.
General information: it´s a lovely recipe originating from the areas of Barbagia and Tonara.The Torrone offers the typical flavour and colour of the Sardinian honey and fresh fruits.It can be made of almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts.There are 7 types of Almond torrone, each of them made with a different honey.
Ingredients: Sardinian honey, dried fruits 50%, white of the egg, wafer.
