Pear and Myrtle Compote.
Pears, rich in important nutrients such as fiber, vitamin C, and fructose, also contain a good amount of potassium.
INGREDIENTS:
Origin: the pears in this jar come from a pear orchard entirely grafted onto wild pear trees.
Preparation: after being carefully washed, the pears are chopped and boiled together with lemon juice and sugar. Myrtle purée is added at the final stage.
Serving suggestions: perfect for making delicious tarts, cakes, and cookies. Wonderful when paired with dark chocolate or enjoyed with sweet dessert wines. This compote also pairs sublimely with pecorino cheeses, both fresh and aged.
