Apollo rice is a superfine aromatic variety obtained through non-GMO crossbreeding techniques between an aromatic Asian cultivar and an Italian rice variety.
Apollo rice is an aromatic rice that represents the Italian alternative to exotic varieties such as Basmati and Jasmine. It is excellent for preparing oriental dishes, but also perfect for rice salads or simply boiled to accompany vegetable, meat, or fish-based main courses. The cooking method that best enhances its aroma is absorption boiling in a thick-bottomed pot. After rinsing the rice under cold water for a couple of minutes, bring to a boil an amount of water equal to twice the weight of the rice. Add the rice, let it return to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook covered until all the water has been absorbed. Turn off the heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then transfer it to a plate, fluff it, and allow it to cool.
Packaged in a Modified Atmosphere (MAP), which ensures the preservation of the product’s organoleptic qualities using natural methods.
Store in a dry place after opening.
