INGREDIENTS:
Origin: the figs in these jars are grown in the countryside of Tula and harvested in the second half of August, when they reach their best flavor.
Preparation: after carefully selecting the tastiest small-to-medium-sized figs, the fruit is washed, sieved, cut in half, and boiled together with sugar and lemon juice.
Serving suggestions: when paired with white wines, rosés, young fruity red wines, aged or semi-aged cheeses, or ricotta, this jam enhances and brings out their distinctive flavors.
