ORIGIN: The grapes for Pedraia are the result of a careful selection from the best vineyards planted on the hills of lower Sulcis, with the oldest variety in Sardinia, Nuragus.
SOIL COMPOSITION: Generally medium-textured soils, clayey and sandy.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 100% Nuragus.
CLIMATE: Warm and arid in summer, temperate in winter.
HARVEST TIME: Nuragus grapes are the last white grapes to be harvested, around the first or second decade of October.
VINIFICATION: The Nuragus must, obtained through a gentle pressing of the grapes, is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then rests for a few months in cement tanks, where it completes its evolution in contact with its own yeasts.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Color: elegant straw yellow tending towards golden. Aroma: intense aromas of yellow fruit combined with buttery notes. Taste: full and delicate, envelops the palate with a pleasant smoothness.
STORAGE: Constant temperature of 17 °C, humidity of 75-80%, protected from light, horizontal bottle position.
SERVING: It is served in a medium-small glass with a medium-sized opening, at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
GASTRONOMY: Try pairing it with first courses of bottarga (cured fish roe) and soft cheeses.
