Vermentino is a grape variety typical of Gallura, a northern region of the island. Imported from Spain in the mid-19th century, in the reddish soils formed by granitic decay, sunny but wind-battered, vermentino manages to express the highest varietal sensations that are carefully gathered in the distillate.
General characteristics: clear and bright color; delicate and refined bouquet, soft, with a hint of vanilla in the fruity aftertaste, well-structured.Raw material: Grape pomace from white vermentino grapes.
Production information and production method: Produced from grape pomace of white vermentino grapes, using a discontinuous bain-marie alembic with special and meticulous attention from the master distiller.
