This myrtle liqueur is crafted by infusing hand-picked red myrtle berries from Northern Sardinia. The berries of the small myrtle shrub (from the Latin myrtus, meaning fragrant essence) are collected in December and January, when they are perfect for the ancient liquor-making process. With a deep violet color and intense aroma, this myrtle liqueur is a Sardinian specialty highly appreciated for its quality.
Best enjoyed very chilled as a digestif. The essential oils visible at the neck of the bottle, derived from the fruit peels, are a sign of the artisanal production. To preserve the liqueur´s organoleptic qualities, store it in a cool place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Serve preferably cold or on ice.
