Type: Bitter liqueur
Alcohol content: 3% vol.
Amaro Estremista 3° is a bitter liqueur obtained through the infusion of Sardinian Mediterranean herbs in low-alcohol spirits, with the aim of extracting only the noblest aromatic components of the native botanicals. This technique allowed Silvio Carta to create an amaro with only 3% alcohol content, yet rich in balsamic notes, complexity, and harmony, lovingly balanced by the presence of Sardinian honey.
Awards and recognitions:
Appearance: Bright amber colour.
Aroma: Pleasantly aromatic, with fragrances of native herbs and juniper. Persistent notes of medicinal herbs and thyme make it refreshing, spicy, balsamic, and extremely enjoyable.
Taste: Surprisingly consistent with the aromatic profile, very harmonious and characterised by a silky texture that makes it unique and endlessly pleasant. Smooth on the palate, with a delicate bitter note and a long balsamic finish.
Serving suggestions: Perfect enjoyed neat, as an aperitif “on the rocks” with plenty of ice, or served straight from the fridge alongside roasted meats or shellfish. Ideal after a rich meal or as an ingredient in a wide range of cocktails.
